Last night’s first banquet at the Edgewater was terrific, with a beautiful sunset as the backdrop. The E Scow sailing community knows how to have a great time on and off the water!
Despite today’s rather light wind forecast, we’re keeping our hopes high and fingers crossed for some wind. This is one of those days where optimism comes in handy, and you just show up to the lake hoping the forecast is off the mark.
Event co-organizer Patrick Heaney said that even though the wind forecast could be light for Saturday, competitors should expect to sail out to the course because the Race Committee will make every effort to ensure that racing takes place.
